Make sure the minimum bending radius of the fibre
optic cable is no less than 25 mm.

Route the DVD changer retrofit cable as follows:
- Route branch
A1 from behind through the glove
compartment
- Route branch A2 into the passenger footwell
- Route branch A3 along the right-hand side of the car
to the rear right power distribution box in the luggage
compartment
- Route branch A4 along the vehicle wiring harness into
the passenger footwell
Route branches A5–A9 to the radio slot.
Screw branch A2 to ground point Z10*6B in the
passenger footwell.
If PIN 21 is occupied, disconnect the socket contact
from branch A4 and connect it with miniature
connector F .

Route branches A4 to the footwell module A58 .
Connect branch A4 , GR/RT cable, to PIN 21 of
plug A58*1B , SW 26-pin socket casing.
Disconnect the outgoing fibre optic cable from fibre optic
cable housing A42*2B PIN 2 and connect branch A8 .
Clip fibre optic cable housing A42*2B to plug A42*1B .
