10. Installing and connecting the video switch
Screw-connect video switch AA using hexagon
screws AH .
Connect socket casing AB1 to video switch AA .
To cut down on the installation time, the cable
routing should be performed at the same time as the
cabling of the retrofit cables AC and AG .

Screw branch AB8 (M6 ring eyelet) to ground support
point Z10*12B .
If PINs 18/27/28 are already occupied, disconnect
the existing cables, insulate them and tie them
back.

Route branches AB2–AB6 to the radio receiver,
plug A42*1B .
Connect branches AB2–AB3 as follows using miniature
connector AJ to the cable of plug A42*1B , SW 40-pin
socket casing:
- Branch
AB2 , OR/GN cable, to the same colour on the
radio plug A42*1B using miniature connector AJ .
- Branch AB3 , GN cable, to the same colour on the
radio plug A42*1B using miniature connector AJ.
