To install the CD changer (cars without an on-board monitor, without a DSP amplifier and
with Professional radio SA663 after production date 04/01 only)

Push the shrink hose (16) over branch

, silver 10-pin plug casing on adapter cable

, and
connect branch

, silver 10-pin socket casing on control cable

to it.
As you connect

to
E2
ensure that it is correctly positioned, see figure.
All sharp metal and plastic detents are to be removed from plug connection

using
an angle cutter.
There must be no sharp edges or corners on plug connection

and
E2
.
Push the shrink hose (16) over the plug connection

and shrink it using a hot air
blower.

centre console under the carpet parallel to the
audio wiring harness to the rear left door sill and
along the side panel to the installation site of the
CD changer (1).
