Low beams
55-watt bulb, H7.
1. Turn the cover counterclockwise and re‐
move.
2. Turn the bulb holder counterclockwise, ar‐
row 1, and remove, arrow 2.
3. Remove the bulb from the bulb holder.
4. Install the new bulb and bulb holder in re‐
verse order of removal.
5. Close the headlight housing with the lid.
Make sure that the lid audibly engages.
6. Attach the cover to the wheel house.
Accessing the high beams/headlight
flasher
Follow general instructions, refer to page 225 .
1. Open the hood, refer to page 215 .
2. Turn the lid counterclockwise and remove.
High beams/headlight flasher
55-watt bulb, H7.
1. Unscrew the bulb holder, arrow 1, and
carefully remove it, arrow 2.
2. Remove the bulb from the bulb holder.
3. To insert the bulb and bulb holder, proceed
in reverse order of removal. Make sure you
hear the bulb holder engage.
4. Close the headlight housing with the lid.
LED headlights
Light-emitting diodes (LEDs)
With LED headlights, all front lights and side
indicators are designed with LED technology.
If an LED fails, switch on the front fog lamps
and continue the trip with great care. Comply
with local regulations.
In the case of a malfunction, contact a dealer’s
service center or another qualified service cen‐
ter or repair shop.
