If button 1 is not pressed for a
longer time, the spring preload
is adjusted as indicated.
At very low temperatures, un-
load the motorcycle before in-
creasing the spring preload,
and have the passenger dis-
mount if necessary.

Auto
loading mode, the
spring preload is only adjusted
after riding off.
Riding mode
Use of the riding modes
BMW Motorrad has developed
riding scenarios for your motor-
cycle from which you can select
the one matching your situation:
RAIN: riding on rain-slicked
roads.
ROAD: riding on dry roads.
DYNAMIC: dynamic riding on
dry roads.
DYNAMIC PRO: dynamic riding
taking into account individual
settings made by the rider.
The optimum interaction be-
tween engine characteristics,
ABS control, and DTC control
is provided for each of these sce-
narios.
