BRAKING
&
MOVEMENT
Except during transport, always ensure that the chair's brake is engaged. Check whether the
brake is engaged by attempting to move the chair.
Make sure to lock all 4 wheels.
Do not park the chair on a sloping floor.
Do not move the chair with the wheels locked.
Do not move
the chair when the bed mechanism is unfolded.
Do not move the chair with the wheel brakes locked.
Do not move the chair with a person on it.
NOTE: the wheels are not intended for long distance movement, simply to allow the chair
to be moved for cleaning.
