When using RAID

The following description is when eDVR has internal primary disk and 1 set of IEEE1394 RAID.

<Note RAID>

Even though several HDDs are connected to RAID, eDVR will recognize them as only one HDD.

For connection and setup of RAID, please refer to the manual of related device.

When external HDD RAID is connected to IEEE1394 port, “Disk Manager” runs automatically. If

not, run it manually in “Menu

Utility

Disk Manager”.

(2)

Select a second HDD of [F] Ext and configure a size of alarm partition. Press the “Apply” button

after selecting action as “Add”. Then [F] is changed to [R].

<Note>

If connecting the device that is used in eDVR, type will be indicated as [V].

(3)

Press the [EXIT] button to shut down “Disk Manager”.
