impulse noise is considered to occur if the
noise level has a peak value with an
interval longer than 1 second. Impulse
noise can also occur in environments with
continuous noise, and different users have
different tolerances to impulse noise.
There is therefore no generally accepted
way of determining whether ear
protection provides adequate protection
from impulse noise.
• Ear protection should always be used in
noisy conditions to provide protection
from hearing impairment.
• Ear protection should be checked at
regular intervals for damage and wear.
WARNING!
• There are small and large ear protectors.
The earmuffs fitted on this helmet
comply with EN 352-3 and are of the
small medium or large type. Medium
sized earmuffs will suit most users.
Small or large models are intended for
users who cannot use earmuffs of the
medium model.
• Some chemicals can have a negative
effect on the product. Additional
information can be obtained from the
manufacturer.
• Ear protection, and in particular the
seals on the cups, can deteriorate as a
result of wear and should therefore be
regularly checked for cracks, noise
admission and other damage.
• Hygiene covers on the seals can affect
the noise damping capacity.
• This mesh visor is marked with the
designation S and must not be used
when there is a risk of being hit by hard
and sharp objects.
• The mesh visor is intended as protection
from injuries caused by splinters and
objects with moderate impact energy –
heavy objects with high impact energy
can rupture it. The visor has no filtering
effect and does not provide protection
from hot objects, splashed molten metal
or electric shock.
• Always fold down the visor when using
the helmet.
• The visor does not provide protection
from splashing, hot objects, electricity or
infrared/UV radiation.
• Do not use the visor in environments
where there is a risk of being hit by
hard, sharp objects.
• Wooden splinters and resin can damage
the visor and reduce visibility.
