6 If the appliance has fallen on the floor or has been cases take the
appliance to a specialist for checking and repair if necessary.
7 Ensure that the cord does not hang over sharp edges and keep it
away from hot surfaces.
8 Only pull it out of the power supply by the plug, not by the cord.
9 After pull the plug out, do not touch or put it on flammable
surface because heating element still warm.
10 Do not fill water into the kettle too full because when boiling
water will out flow.
11 Place the appliance on a stable surface, away from hot objects
(e.g. hotplates), naked flames, do not place under curtains or low
wall-cupboards.
12 You should never leave the appliance unattended during use.
13 This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including chil-
dren) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
14 Use the kettle only with the base unit supplied, and do not use
the base unit for any other purposes.
15 Never remove the kettle from its base unit while in operation.
Switch the appliance off first.
16 Close the lid properly before switching on. Otherwise, the appliance
will not switch off automatically and hot water may overflow.
17 The kettle is used for heating water only and is not to be used
for any other liquids.
18 The appliance is designed for household use only.
19 Do not immerse appliance in the water.
20 If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manu-
facturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to
avoid a hazard.
21 Do not open the lid when water boiling.
22 Unplug when take the kettle out of base.
23 Don’t operate the appliance if no have water in the kettle.
24 Children should be supervised to ensure that do not play with
the appliance.
FIRST TIME USING
1 Remove all packing materials from the kettle.
2 Before connecting of the kettle, check that voltage indicated on
the rating label corresponds the mains voltage in your home.
3 Fill the kettle with cool water up to the “
1.5L
” mark and boil it.
Emty the kettle. The appliance is ready for use.
OPEN LID
FILLING
1 Remove the kettle from the base unit.
2 You can fill the kettle with water by opening the lid, by pressing
on the lid release button.
