HDE-8C DIN Series

Instruction Manual

FRONT PANEL:

-20dB QAM RF TEST:

 “F” connector for RF testing @ -20dB below the main QAM RF output.

DATA OUT 1 GIGE (

QAM/IP Only

):

 RJ45 connector for GigE (1000Base-T Ethernet) interface for SPTS or MPTS output 

streams. Only static IP address can be assigned to this interface. (Factory Default: “192.168.252.1”)

STATUS LED:

 LEDs indicate the status of the unit as follows:

Off:

 Normal Operation

Blinking Red:

 Overtemperature condition

Blinking Green:

 EAS active

Blinking Red-Green:

 Unit identification

POWER LED:

 The power LED indicates the power of the unit as follows:

LED is Green

 = AC power is detected.

LED is Off

 = indicates (i) AC power is not connected, or (ii) AC power is connected but the power supply is defective. 

The unit must be sent to Blonder Tongue for repair for condition (ii).

Closed  Captioning  (CC):

  Analog  NTSC  (Composite  video)  EIA-608  which  will  then  be  inserted  in  the  MPEG-2 

transport stream.

RECEIVERS CONTROL 10/100:

 RJ45 connector for 10/100Base-T Ethernet interface for controlling satellite receivers.

QAM RF OUT:

 “F” connector for up to four (4) QAM RF outputs.

IP RESET: 

Push and hold for 5 seconds, to reset. Factory Defaults are as follows:

IP address = 172.16.70.1

Username = Admin (case-sensitive)

Password = pass (case-sensitive)
