Identify additional safety measures to protect the operator from the effects of vibration and noise such as:
proper and regular maintenance of the machine and the accessories, keeping the hands warm, organization of
work patterns for example by using rotation schedules. The use of anti-vibration gloves could also decrease the
effects of the vibrations transmitted.
Although the sound pressure level at the operators position does not exceed 80 dB(A), ear protection is still
strongly recommended when working with this machine.
Old equipment contains valuable materials which are valuable for re-processing.
The machine parts must not
be thrown
away in the normal household waste,
but should be disposed of at a suitable proper collection
system, e. g. via your communal disposal location. This way the materials can be re-used in an environmentally
responsible manner.
