Fitting the attachment mount
You can see how to fit the attachment in Figures 1 to 11 from page
39.
1. Remove any screw-on rings which are attached to the ocular thread
on your Liemke Merlin device.
2. Then rotate the appropriate attachment mount for the device you
are fitting until it locks into position on the ocular thread.
• In doing so, ensure that the front star screw is open wide enough
to fit the mount without needing to apply any force.
• Now rotate the attachment mount back again until it is horizon-
tal. On the Merlin-13 and Merlin-35, you can use the markings on
the device and the attachment mount to position it horizontally.

3. When the device is correctly aligned, fasten the front star screw
with the supplied bit insert by hand. This fixes the attachment mount
onto the device. (Figure

4. Before preceding to the next step, ensure that the weapon is not
loaded and the bolt assembly is open.
5. When the riflescope is attached, open the saddle mount and remove
the Blaser B1 1-7x28 iC / Blaser B2 1-6x24 iC from the Blaser
weapon.
6. Open the attachment screw and dismantle the recoil lug. (Figure

)
7. Insert the sliding block into the Blaser B1 1-7x28 iC / Blaser
B2 1-6x24 iC’s inner rail in front of the Blaser saddle mount and
rotate it 90° clockwise.
• Make sure that the sliding block radius is in the inserted and rot-
ated position at the top right or bottom left. (Figure
