CHAPTER 3: Cable Tests
If any anomalies are found, the anomalies and the
cable length will be alternately flashed on the
display. Anomalies are reflections from impedance
mismatches located between the Scan-LAN 80 and
the end of the cable. They can be caused by a faulty
punchdown-block connection (twisted-pair
networks) or badly crimped cables (coax networks).
The display below will appear if the cable length
exceeds the specified limit.
