ASCADING

Hubs may be cascaded in order to
expand networks. For example, a
MiniHub may be cascaded via its port
#5 up-link into any port of another
MiniHub. Since each MiniHub
provides full repeater functionality,

cascaded units can operate together
even though there may be a full
segment of distance between them.
Based on the “four-repeater rule”
defined by Ethernet standards, there
may be a maximum of four units in
any one chain between any two users.
