16 UNIT START UP
Turn on hot and cold water supplies, and check for leaks above and below the sink.
17 FAUCET FUNCTION
COLD valve: close-counterclockwise, open-clockwise; HOT valve: close-clockwise,
open-counterclockwise. The Spout (17A) can be rotated around the Faucet Body in
any direction.
Note: Flush faucet before turning on valve (see step 18).
18 FLUSHING & AERATOR CLEANING
After installation is complete, remove Aerator Housing (18A). Turn Valves
(18B) on and allow both hot and cold water to run for at least one minute each. While
water is running, check for leaks. To clean the aerator, disassemble Aerator Housing
(18A) by separating the Aerator Shell (18C), Basket (18D), and Washer (18E). Once
parts have been cleaned, reassemble by reversing steps.
19 VALVE CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT
Turn off water supplies and relieve pressure before working on your faucet (see
step 2). Remove Handles (19A) (see step 10).
20 VALVE CARTRIDGE MAINTENANCE
Turn off water supplies and relieve pressure before working on your faucet (see
step 2). Remove Valve Adapter (20A) (see step 9), unscrew Cartridge Assembly (20B)
and inspect. Replace parts as necessary.
