POSITIONING SLIDE RACK(S)
• To accommodate a wide variety of foods the oven has four rack positions
and two slide racks. You can insert one or two racks in theupper rack slots
(see photo below).
• Positioning of the slide rack(s) will
depend on the size of the food and
desired browning.
Important: Before removing the rack(s) allow the unit to cool.
• To remove the rack(s), lower oven door to fully open position and pull the
rack(s) toward the front of the oven.
BAKE (HORNEAR)
1.
Turn temperature (ºC) selector to desired temperature from 120°C to
230°C. For best results, preheat oven for 10 minutes at desired baking
temperature before baking food.
2. Turn cooking function (MODO) selector to bake (Hornear).
3. Turn timer to desired baking time, including preheat time. [Select Stay
On (Encendido Continuo) to bake longer than 120 minutes or to control
cooking time yourself.] The On indicator light and oven light come on
and will remain lit during entire baking time.
4. The heating elements cycle on and off to maintain even heat
distribution.
5. Once oven has preheated, open oven door and insert food.
Close oven door.
Note:
You can bake 2 ways:
•
Insert the bake pan/drip tray into the upper or lower rack slot.
•
Place food directly on the slide rack in the upper position of the oven
and insert the bake pan/drip tray into the lower rack position to avoid
drippings rom falling on heating elements.
Note:
Be sure the top edge of the food or container is at least 1 1/2” (3.81 cm)
away from the upper heating elements.
6. Cook food according to recipe or package instructions and check at
minimum time to see if it is done.
7. If using the oven timer, there will be an audible signal once the baking
cycle is complete. The oven turns off and the indicator light goes off. If
not using the oven timer, turn the oven to off once cooking cycle
is complete.
8. Using oven mitts or pot holders, lower oven door to fully open position
Slide the rack out along with the bake pan/drip tray to remove
the cooked food.
9. Unplug appliance when not in use.
CONVECTION BAKE (HORNEAR CON CONVECCIÓN)
This function uses an internal fan to distribute the heat evenly. For best
results, preheat oven for 10 minutes at desired baking temperature before
baking food.
Note:
Some foods might cook faster than expected; monitor cooking time.
