Extension cables
A 3 core cable must be used as your
tool is earthed.
Features
This appliance includes some or all of the

Use
Initial filling of the boiler (fig. A and B)
Warning!
Make sure that the appliance is
switched off and unplugged.
Unscrew and remove the cap (7).
Note:
When filling the boiler, use tap
water only.
Use the filler jug (6) to fill the boiler
reservoir with water, take care not to
spill any water.
Replace the boiler filler cap (7), do
not overtighten.
Plug the mains plug into the power
supply.
Switch the iron on/off switch (9)
on. The light in the switch will come
on.
Switch the boiler on/off switch (11)
on. The light in the switch will
come on.
Note:
When the iron is used for the first
time there may be a little smoke or a few
drops of water. This is normal because
some parts of the iron are lubricated and
sealed. It will soon stop.
Warning!
This appliance must be placed
on the stand (8) when not in use.
Warning!
When placing the iron on its
stand, make sure that the surface on
which the stand is placed is stable.
Warning!
Do not press the steam
discharge trigger (4) or button (1) if the
steam ready indicator light (12) is off or if
the iron is not heated correctly as this
could cause water to come out of the
holes in the sole plate.
To release the steam, wait until the
steam ready indicator light (12) on
the control panel is on.
Set the iron thermostat knob (5) to
‘steam’.
When the required temperature has
been reached the iron at-
temperature light (3) will go out. This
light will go on and off in use; this is
normal.
Press the steam discharge button (1)
on the iron handle or press the steam
discharge trigger (4). Do not use the
first jets of steam.
The steam discharge button (1) on
the iron handle can be locked if
required by sliding the steam button
lock (2) back. Unlock the steam
discharge button by sliding the steam
button lock (2) forward.
Filling the boiler during ironing
The boiler will need refilling with water
when no more steam is produced and the
empty water tank indicator light (13) is on.
Warning!
Never loosen the boiler filler
cap while the appliance is plugged in.
Warning!
Never loosen the boiler filler
cap while ironing.
To fill the boiler:
To avoid the risk of electric
shock, do not immerse the cord,
plug or appliance in water or
other liquid.
Surfaces may become hot in
use.
The filler cap may be hot during
use and during the cool down
period.
