1. SCOPE OF THE MANUAL
The present manual concerns machine vices type 6516 and includes following questions
concerning use of above-mentioned vices:
-
structure of the vice,
-
operational hints,
-
equipment,
-
industrial safety conditions.
2. APPLICATION
Hydraulic machine vices type 6516 are applied for clamping of steel and cast-iron workpieces
on millers, planers, slotters etc., for which clamping in mechanical vices is insufficient.
Advantages:

firm clamping and high clamping force at small effort of operator,
-
constant clamping force for each clamping, what guarantees high consistency of
clamping conditions,
-
possibility of selection, depending on needs, of method of workpiece clamping
(mechanical, hydraulic, mechanical - hydraulic).
