(When the status is
normal, the status LED will flash once briefly every 8 seconds).
Testing:
1.
Switch on the Birth Alarm Mobile Premium/Lite
(see 10)
and then turn
the Birth Alarm Mobile Premium/Lite until it is in a vertical position.
2.
Wait several seconds until the GSM LED starts flashing
(if you have a
Birth Alarm
Mobile Premium and you use the sleep mode, then this will
only activate when the device is returned to a horizontal position after
20 seconds).
3.
The Birth Alarm Mobile Premium/Lite will call you in a moment. Allow
your (mobile) telephone to ring out.
Installation:
1.
Always check that the Birth Alarm Mobile Premium/Lite is working prior
to use.

2.
Switch on the Birth Alarm Mobile Premium/Lite.
(see 3.2)
3.
Slide the Birth Alarm Mobile Premium/Lite into the holder provided and
close this using the clip
(see 11)
(You can easily switch the Birth Alarm
Mobile Premium/Lite on and off while it is in the holder).
4.
Now install the holder under the halter, or, if desired, into the ring on
an anti-roll girth using the cable ties (tie wraps)
.
5.
If you are installing the Birth Alarm Mobile Premium/Lite under your
mare's halter, it is important that the holder is secured reasonably
tightly under the jaw of the mare.
(When the mare is holding its head
upright, Birth Alarm Mobile Premium/Lite should hang in a fairly
horizontal position)
Maintenance:
1.
Check that the battery level is sufficient occasionally when visiting your
mare. You can do this quickly by checking the colour of the status LED.
This should flash green once every eight seconds. If you see a red flash
