default settings that are programmed into your
system when you first turn it on. The CMU style
system does not have distribution attenuation.
4) Select the other tower top amplifier and check
that the bench test static sensitivity value
remains nearly the same. This will insure that
both amplifiers in the tower top box are func-
tioning properly. To select an alternate tower-
top amplifier press the associated amplifier
select button on the front panel, the status LED
will begin to flash, then press the ENTER button
to finalize the selection.
5) If the tower box door is opened during the
installation it is important to re-tighten the door
correctly so that the door gasket seal is main-

the bottom of the box are unobstructed.
INSTALLATION
The following sub-sections of the manual discuss
general considerations for installing the system. All
work should be performed by qualified personal.
TXRX Systems provides the base control unit and
tower top amplifier box. All additional par ts
required for installation must be supplied by the
customer. Before mounting the tower top box we
recommend that you record the model number and
serial number of the unit for future reference (table
5 is a convenient place to store them). The num-
bers are located on a tag attached to the inside of
the door and may be required in the future if you
call the factory for customer service support.
Test Transmission Line
Proper installation of this system requires the
installation of a test transmission line in addition to
the main transmission line for system testing and
