Quick Power On Self Test
This category speeds up Power on Self-Test (POST) after you power up the
computer. If it is set to Enable, Bios will shorten or skip some check items during
POST.
Enabled
(default)
Enable quick POST.
Disabled
Normal POST.
Swap Floppy Drive
If the system has two floppy drives, you can swap the logical drive name
assignments.
The Choices:
Enabled,
Disabled
(default).
Boot Up Floppy Seek
Seeks disk drives during boot up. Disabling speeds boot-up.
The Choices:
Enabled
(default), Disabled.
Boot Up NumLock Status
Select power on state for NumLock.
On
(default)
Numpad is number keys.
Off
Numpad is arrow keys.
Gate A20 Option
Select if chipset or keyboard controller should control Gate A20.
Normal
A pin in the keyboard controller
controls Gate A20.
Fast
(default)
Lets chipset control Gate A20.
Typematic Rate Setting
This determines the typematic rate.
Enabled
Enable typematic rate and typematic delay
programming.
Disabled
(default)
Disable typematic rate and typematic delay
programming. The system BIOS will use
default value and the keyboard controls the
function.
