             BIOS Setup

ACPI Function 

This item allows you to enable/disable the Advanced Configuration and Power 
Management (ACPI). 

The Choices:

 

Enabled

 (default), Disabled. 

 

ACPI Suspend Type 

The item allows you to select the suspend type under ACPI operating system. 

S1 (POS)

 (default) 

Power on Suspend 

S3 (STR)   

Suspend to RAM 

 

Power Management 

This category allows you to select the type (or degree) of power saving and is 
directly related to the following modes: 
1.HDD Power Down. 
2.Doze Mode. 
3.Suspend Mode. 
There are four selections for Power Management, three of which have fixed mode 
settings 
 

Min Saving 

Minimum power management. Doze Mode 
= 1 hr. Standby Mode = 1 hr., Suspend 
Mode = 1 hr., and HDD Power Down = 15 
min. 

 
Max Saving 

Maximum power management. Doze Mode 
= 1 min., Standby Mode = 1 min., Suspend 
Mode = 1 min., and HDD Power Down = 1 
min. 

 

User Define 

(default) 

This option allows you to set each mode 
individually. When not disabled, each of 
the ranges are from 1 min. to 1 hr. except 
for HDD Power Down, which ranges from 
1 min. to 15 min. and disable.
