TIMER (Heat Logic)
This heater is equipped with a timer. You can set the timer as follows:
l
Depress the
SET
button and the displayed current day time will be switched to
a flashing
l
Set the time you want the heater to turn on by pressing the hour and minute
buttons. After 3 seconds of displaying the preset time, the display will switch
back to the current day time.
l
The function is not active until you press the Heat Logic button. To indicate
that the timer has been activated, a red light will be lit in the display screen.
This light will remain lit as long as the heater is in the Heat Logic mode. As
soon as the heater has operated in the Heat Logic mode the flashing red light
will be turned off. To reactivate the timer for the next day, press the Heat Logic
button again.
. The heater can be set to operate for a specific amount of time. To activate this
function: press the
SET
button for three (3) seconds and the number 60 will
appear on the display screen indicating the amount of minutes the heater is
set to operate. By pressing the
SET
button you have the option to set 60, 45,
30 and
15
minutes. Release the button and after three (3) seconds the display
will return to the current daytime.
Note: This feature is only available when the Heat Logic mode is activated.
AUTO SAFETY SHUT OFF
The heater has a built in safety device, which will switch of the heater in case of
accidental overheating. To reset the heater, follow the next steps:
Turn the control setting to the
(OFF)
position.
2. Unplug the heater and wait for 5 IO minutes for the unit to cool down
3. After the 5 IO minutes plug the unit in again and operate normally.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
. Turn the knob to the
(OFF)
position.
. Remove the plug from the wall socket.
l
Wait for the heater to cool down sufficiently.
l
You may clean the outside of the heater with a damp cloth. Do
NOT
allow
water to come into the appliance. Do
NOT
use soap or chemicals, which may
damage the housing. Allow sufficient time to dry before plugging the unit back
in the socket.
l
Clean the air inlet and outlet openings regularly (with normal use at least twice
a year) with a vacuum cleaner.
STORAGE TIPS
If you do not plan to use your heater for an extended period of time (i.e. during
the summer months), we recommend you to re-pack the unit in its original
packaging or any other dust-free packaging and store it in a dry and
place.
