Arterial Testing
37. After at-rest ABI values and PVR waveforms are
recorded, click “Post-Excercise Test...” from the Test
Summary screen (Figure 1.29).

Note: After Post-Exercise test results have been saved,
the initial at-rest test will no longer be accessible for
changes.
38. Remove Above Knee and Calf Cuffs, and have the
patient walk on a motorized treadmill until the onset of
symptoms, or for up to five minutes.
39. To start the exercise timer, click “Start”, or press 1
(Figure 1.30).

40. Under “Notes”, record the treadmill speed (2 mph),
grade (12%) and any reported symptoms (Figure 1.31).
41. At the onset of symptoms, click “Stop” (“Start”
button changes to “Stop”) (Figure 1.31).

42. Click “Save” (Figure 1.32).
43. Click “Next”, or press 4 to move to the test screen
(Figure 1.32).
