Chapter 2 bintec H2 Auto Compact
2.1 Introduction
The bintec H2 Auto Compact is a multiservice communications platform for vehicles. It provides 4G broadband ac-
cess and location tracking capabilities to WI-fi and LAN devices, including advanced network security mechanisms
and an extended operating temperature range.
This manual explains how to install and connect the bintec H2 Auto Compact router.

2.1.1 Power supply

2.1.2 Hardware monitoring
The LEDs on the front panel are used to monitor the hardware in the bintec H2 Auto Compact router. These LEDs
provide visual status information on the hardware components, indicating whether there is connectivity, data flow,
etc.
