7 CALL
BLOCKER
If you subscribe to Caller ID, you can use the call blocker feature to reject certain calls
automatically by adding numbers into the black list or rejecting a Call Type (see 7.6.5).
The phone stores up to 100 entries shared between the phonebook (including the
WHITE LIST) and the black list.
When a blocked call is received the telephone will not ring, but the handset will show
the caller details. If the answering machine is active it will answer the call, but no call
screening will be heard (see section 9). In order to use the call blocker you must

activate the feature (see 7.6). See section 5.1 and 5.8 for how to store numbers to the
phonebook and white list. See section 7.1 for how to store numbers to the black list.
7.1 Add a Number to the Black List
The Black List is used to hold numbers that will always be blocked when the Call
Blocker is set to BLOCK BLIST.
Note:
Each Black List entry reduces the capacity of the Phonebook / White List store.
1. In idle, press <CALL BLOCKER> or press <MENU/OK> and <UP/DOWN> to
select
CALL BLOCKER
.
2. Press <MENU/OK> to show
BLACK LIST
.
3. Press <MENU/OK> twice to open the Black List and then to show
ADD
.
4. Press <MENU/OK> and then enter the number.
5. Press
<MENU/OK>
to store the number to the black list.
7.2 View a Black List Entry
1. In idle, press <CALL BLOCKER> or press <MENU/OK> and <UP/DOWN> to
select

2. Press <MENU/OK> to show
BLACK LIST

3. Press <MENU/OK> then <UP/DOWN> to select the desired black list entry.
4. Press <MENU/OK> and <UP/DOWN> to select
VIEW

5. Press <MENU/OK> and <UP/DOWN> to see the number and name of the
selected entry.
7.3 Edit a Black List Entry
1. In idle, press <CALL BLOCKER> or press <MENU/OK> and <UP/DOWN> to
