Note: The differentiating factors in how apparent the resolution
of multiple VOX settings are by helmet and motorcycle type
(open face or full face helmet, motorcycle with a windscreen
or not and engine noise). With an open face helmet type
(microphone more prone to being affected by wind noise), the
scale/resolution of VOX settings will have a more apparent
effect rather than on a full-face helmet type (microphone less
prone to being affected by wind noise). Our performance tests
were conducted on a Honda STS1300 Goldwing with the rider
wearing an open face Shoei J-Force helmet.
