Cleaning
PERFORM CLEANING OPERATIONS WEEKLY
It is recommended to periodically clean the press in order to eliminate foreign bodies (e.g. dust,
foreign and dirty substances, etc.) that could excessively wear out all the moving parts of the press.
N.B. ALL MAINTENANCE OR CLEANING OPERATIONS MUST BE CARRIED
OUT WITH THE PRESSURE RELEASE KNOB CLOSED AND THE CYLINDER
STEM COMPLETELY OUT.
Remove all foreign bodies from the cylinder stem which could damage both the surface of the
piston stem and the cylinder seals.
During cleaning use non-harmful and non-polluting detergents according to the law.
Pay the utmost attention during the cleaning phases of the internal parts of the press body,
especially if protections are removed for practical reasons.
Do not clean the machine with bare hands. Use protective gloves and brushes or oilers to lubricate
the guides.
N.B. Do not use solvents or aggressive acids.
Cleaning of the work areas
Keep the work area clear of any material that may hinder the operations of the employees.
Keep the surrounding areas clean; in particular from oil, grease, etc. that can make the floor
slippery.
Use suitable vacuum cleaners and proper equipment.
