USE
Leaky injectors cause combustion residues to
accumulate on the seating surfaces. These
residues must be removed before installing a
new seal.
Choose a suitable reamer.
Put the reamer onto the drive pin (17).
Tighten the mounting screw on the reamer
with the hex key (19).
Use a small amount of light lubricant whilst
performing the cut to reduce chattering and
help give a flat cut
Insert the T-handle onto the hexagon of the
drive pin.
Slightly turn the T-handle clockwise.
Meanwhile, check the result of the cleaning, if
necessary, clean again.
After cleaning, the seat should look as shown
in the photo.
Choose seal seat reamer for injector sealing
surface. Slide the reamer over the front part
of the injector. Clean the injector sealing
surface by turning the reamer clockwise.
