1. If no heart rate display
appears, open the
receiver housing (as
detailed under “Re-
placing the receiver
battery”), and reverse
the switch in the housing. Close the housing and
repeat the pulse connection as detailed under
“Activating pulse measurement”.
Alternatively, the music volume may be so high
that it is interfering with the pulse signals. Redu-
ce the music volume.
2. The microphone and speaker are deactiva-
ted when the receiver is connected to the
telephone, but you can continue to use head-
phones.
3. The remote control on the iPhone headphones
does not function when the receiver is con-
nected to the telephone.
4. The receiver is switched on and consumes bat-
tery power as soon as it is connected to the te-
lephone, even if the runtastic app is not active.
Remember to disconnect the receiver when it is
not needed.
5. The service life of the receiver battery is approx.
2 years when used for 1 hour per day. If trans-
mission between the receiver and the chest
strap ceases to function, replace the battery as
detailed under “Replacing the receiver battery”
or “Replacing the chest strap battery”.
3. Activating pulse measurement
To activate pulse measurement, open the runtastic
app on your smartphone.
iPhone:
Go to
“Settings”
and select
“Heart Rate Settings”
.
Choose „
“runtastic Receiver with Chest Strap“
and
set
„ Enable runtastic Receiver“
to ON, press
„Re-pair“.
If the pulse connection fails to function, reverse the
polarity of the headphone connection as described
above.
