After use, disconnect the receiver from the smart-
phone in order to preserve the battery life of the
smartphone.
4. Putting on the chest strap
• Secure the chest strap to the elastic tension belt.
Adjust the length of the belt so that it is comforta-
ble without being too loose or too tight. Position
the belt around the chest with the logo facing out-
wards and in the correct position immediately on
the breastbone. On men, the chest strap should lie
immediately below the pectoral muscle, on women,
immediately below the bust.
• As optimum contact between the skin and pulse
sensors is not always possible immediately, it may
be some time before the pulse is measured and
displayed. Adjust the position of the transmit-
ter to achieve optimum contact. The formation of
sweat under the chest strap usually helps to ensure
good contact. You can also moisten the contacts
on the inside of the chest strap. To do this, lift the
