Preassembly
Transport route
Before installation of the individual subassemblies, the transport routes are
marked on the floor. Then the supporting points of the hoist are marked on the
floor. Please see the dimensions required from the installation drawing. The
supporting points of the other subassemblies are not marked as they result from
the position of the subassemblies to each other.

How to mark the
transport route
1. Mark the transport route of the pallet transport system on the floor.
2. Mark the central axis of the BEUMER stretch hood
®
at right angles to it on the
floor.
3. Mark the outline of the four base plates of the hoist on the floor.
Final installation
How to install the BEUMER stretch hood
®
First, the part of the pallet transport system located under the BEUMER stretch
hood
®
is mounted. Then the hoist is set up, aligned and fastened. The mainte-
nance platform can be pre-mounted on the floor if the lifting equipment is suffi-
ciently dimensioned. Before mounting the railing, place the hood applicator head
on the maintenance platform.
Warning!
Components which are lying on the floor may oscillate against the lifting
direction if they are lifted on one side.
Never stand in the area where components are set up!
