OPERATION MANUAL AND INSTRUCTIONS

- Step 2: Vacuum phase and checking A/C system for tightness (vacuum time and tightness testing time are set by operator).
• Open the high-pressure and low-pressure valves.
• Press the key to select the -MANUAL- function; press the key.
• Press the keys to select the -VACUUM-function; press the key.
• Use the keys to select the required vacuum time (recommended time: 20 to 30 minutes); press the key to
save the value.
• Press the key to select the vacuum testing function; then press the keys to set the required vacuum testing
time; finally, press the key, to save the value. Press the key to go back to vacuum; then press the key twice.
• This will start the Vacuum phase. The display will show the time remaining to the end of the operation, and vacuum in
Mbar. After the set time has elapsed, the station will test tightness through a vacuometer, for the preset time. After the
tightness test has been completed, the station will beep repeatedly, to indicate that the cycle has been completed.
If, during the tightness test, a leak should occur, the station will beep persistently.
- Step 3: Feeding fresh oil into A/C system.
• After the vacuum phase has been completed, the compressor of the A/C system can be filled with oil, if need be, through its
tank (see figure 4), by taking the following steps.
• Open the high-pressure and low-pressure valves.
• Press the key to select the -MANUAL- function; press the key.
• Press the key to select the -FEEDING OIL- function; press the key.
• Press the keys to set the required amount of fresh oil; press the key.
• For the tracer, take the same steps as with oil (recommended quantity: 5/10 g max).
- Step 4: Automatically filling A/C system with refrigerant gas.
• Open the high-pressure and low-pressure valves.
• Press the key to select the -MANUAL- function; press the key.
• Press the key to select the -FILLING- function; press the key.
• Press the keys to set the amount of refrigerant gas (in grams) to fill the A/C system with; press the key.
• The car circuit is filled with 10% of the required amount of gas. The car system is then tested for tightness for 2 minutes – if no
leaks are detected in the system, the gas thus fed is recovered, and the total amount of the refrigerant gas required for the car is
automatically fed; the display will show the amount of gas required to reach the set charging value.
• The station will beep repeatedly, to indicate that the phase has been completed.
If the message ‘Cylinder Empty’ is displayed, the storage tank will have to be filled.
