7.9  Positioning the Device with Respect to the Sensor

You must place the device at a proper distance from the sensor for an
optimal communication between the two.

 

the distance may vary sensibly based on the type of sensor and

on the wheel rim it is installed on.

Proceed as follows:

1. Put the device close to the tyre's valve as indicated in the figure, without
touching the wheel rim.

The average distance you should keep to perform the test is

approximately 2 - 3 cm

.

 

Do not align the device's antenna with the sensor.
