Confirm Location
Finding My Car in the Distance
After completing the trip preparations, you or an authorized user can conveniently
view the vehicle's location on the NIO app.
When the vehicle is connected to the Internet, you can view its location in the
top-left corner of My Car on the NIO app. Click on this information to view the
vehicle's location on the map.
Caution
To use vehicle positioning and network services (such as the remote control
features via the NIO app, battery swap, and NFC), enter the settings page from
the left side of the control bar at the bottom of the center display and select
Connectto enable vehicle positioning and network services.
Finding My Car in Close Proximity
When the vehicle is not being driven and the authenticated key fob is within
10 meters to the vehicle, press and hold the car locating button on the smart
key fob for more than three seconds (or double-click the button within three
seconds). The vehicle's horn will honk and the turn signals will flash to indicate
the vehicle's exact location. Press the button again after five seconds to clear the
location prompt. Otherwise, the location prompt will turn off automatically after
10 seconds.
When the vehicle is connected to the Internet, you can also locate it using Find My
Car under My Car on the NIO app. The vehicle's horn will honk and the turn signals
will flash to indicate its location. Press the car locating button on the smart key
fob to clear the location prompt.
