Chapter 4 Instrument Description

The wall housing can be mixed with limit switches for GM detectors
and fitted for NaI detectors. The wall housing includes a back
plane.
A

filter module

is used for 24 V AC/DC supply. It includes:



one mains switch



on mains On LED



two fuses (see Technical Data on page 105)



additional filter section

For 115/230V a 17W

transformer module

is installed. In addition

to the filter module, the transformer module has:



a transformer with voltage selector switch 115V/230V

for any 19" rack

The evaluation unit is installed in a cassette with 7TE. Thus, it can
be used in any 19" rack without back plane. A 32-pole terminal
block is available to connect the wires.
