Diagnostic
Functional test
Due to the automatic start, the CSMS switches on
the safety outputs once the safety guard is closed
(after the actuator has been detected). The function
can be verified by means of the LED displays (for status
display of the blinking pattern see page 32).

●
6075988066 – CSMS-SET-RRS-L-ST
●
6075988068 – CSMS-SET-RRS-L-MA
Application:
One safety guard will be monitored by one CSMS unit. The
safety outputs of the CSMS will be directly connected to
contactors.
The return circuit monitoring of the contactors will be
done by the CSMS. This configuration allows an automatic
start once the safety guard is closed. A risk analysis
of the machine shows whether an automatic start can
be used or not.
The CSMS system can be used without any other
safety controllers for safety-related control of contactors
with positive driven contacts.

Faulty wiring may result in a
circumvention of the start button and
the system has an automatic start-up.
