• The kick-start function will be ended immediately in case the foot control cable is unplugged.
• If no sewing is being carried out in the BSR modes, the machine will switch to standby mode after
seven seconds. This means that the machine will not start sewing automatically if the fabric is moved.
You can end standby mode with another back kick.
• If no sewing has been carried out for 60 seconds, the kick-start function will be ended automatically. The
kick-start screen will disappear.
2.4 Presser foot
Raising and lowering the presser foot
With «Presser foot position»
> To alter the presser foot position, tap «Presser foot position» on the sewing screen.
Display Presser foot position
Presser foot is raised.
Presser foot is lowered.
With presser foot on the sewing screen
> To alter the presser foot position, tap the presser foot on the sewing screen.
With foot control
Prerequisite:
• The back kick can be programmed with the «Presser foot position» function. (see page 25)
> To alter the presser foot position, press the foot control downward with your heel.
Changing the presser foot
Required parts and tools:
• Presser foot
> Raise the needle.
> Raise the presser foot.
> Switch the machine off.
