How to Use
•
Remove the lamp cover by a slight rotation and
set the switch to “ON”. Then install the lamp cover
again. See fig 1.
•
Insert the lamp cover into the pole. Do not put
undue pressure on the solar panel while installing.
•
Take the bottom out of the pole, and insert the
thicker end into the pole.
•
Look for a suitable place with direct sunlight.
•
Push the pole/bottom into the ground deep eno-
ugh to support the main body of the lamp. Do not
hammer directly onto the lamp, this may damage
the solar panel and result in the pole to become
deformed.
•
Make sure that the sun shines directly on the solar
panel. Shadows falling onto the solar panel have
a negative effect on the charging function of the
rechargeable battery. The solar LED light is char-
ged by the solar panel on the top.
•
The day/night sensor switches it on/off automati-
cally.
Notes
•
Make sure that the light sensor at the top of the
lamp is not influenced by other light sources.
Otherwise, the unit does not switch on automati-
cally at dawn.
•
Make sure, after positioning, that the lamp is
securely connected to the base. Do not place the
lamp in a location where people could accidentally
stumble on it.
•
The illuminant cannot be changed.
•
The solar lamp must be charged for two sunny
days for it to reach its optimum performance. The
lighting intensity can vary according to season of
the year. More light will be shown if it has been a
sunny day than on a dull/overcast day.
•
Keep the solar cell panel free from dirt, dust, snow
etc.
