18 Touring the camera

4. Connect one end of the USB cable to the

camera.

5. Connect the other end of the USB cable

to the power adapter.

6. Plug in the power adapter to a wall outlet.

The battery will start charging
immediately.

To charge the battery via a computer:

1. Turn on the computer.
2. Turn off the camera.
3. Insert the battery into the camera.
4. Slide to unlock the USB/AV port cover.
5. Connect one end of the USB cable to the

camera.

6. Connect the other end of the USB cable

to your computer. The battery will start
charging immediately.

You need to follow the instructions above to ensure successful charging.
