just select “do not install SCSI card” and complete installing the driver.

Q: Why the Scanner cable is only 100cm length to connect it to

PC?

A: The cable that comes with scanner is in standard length. If you need a

longer cable, you have to:

1. Get a suitable length SCSI 25 pin male to male cable.

2. It is better to add a SCSI terminator at the scanner.

3. Do not use RS-232C cable (printer cable) as a substitute due to its

internal connection settings.

Q: Why does the computer show “Scanner not found” messages?

A: (1) Make sure that the power is on and cable is attached well between

proprietary card and scanner.

(2) Make sure that the scanner is READY.

After the power on of the scanner, scan module will move forward and

backward twice for self test. After the self test, the LED indicator stops

blinking and keeps the light on. If the scan module does not move at all,
