Removal

Remove the retaining clip of the piston pin

Note:

Don’t allow the retaining ring fall into the

crankcase during removal. Remove the piston pin and
unload the piston

Examine the piston, the piston pin and the piston
rings. Remove the piston rings.

Note

：

Don’t break or damage the piston rings.
Clear the carbon deposits from the piston
ring grooves.

Load the piston ring.

Measure the clearance between the piston ring and
the piston ring groove.
