the time of observation. The NEXRAD age annunciation is displayed on
the left side of the MFD above the

METAR/TAF

The graphical Meteorological Aviation Report (METAR) are overlaid as
color-coded graphical depictions on the map. The Terminal Aerodrome
Forecast (TAF) complements and uses similar encoding to METAR. The
METARs are valid for 1.5 hours, the TAFs are valid for 12 hours.
