Troubleshooting

8.1

Malfunctions

If the COM462RTU causes malfunctions in the connected networks, please refer to this operating
manual.

8.2

What should be checked?

Check whether …

•  the device is supplied with the correct supply voltage.
•  the BMS bus cable is correctly connected and terminated (120 Ω).
•  the Modbus RTU cable is correctly connected and terminated (120 Ω).
•  the BMS address is set correctly.
•  The Modbus RTU address is correctly set and communicated to the master.

If, despite thorough study of the technical manual and intensive troubleshooting in your
installation, you cannot rectify the fault related to the BMS-Modbus RTU gateway COM462RTU,
please contact our Service department.
