Brew Strength Selection
Gourmet strength coffee:
The gourmet setting adjusts the brewing cycle of a full pot of coffee to extract a higher
percent of soluble. This results in a more flavorful pot of coffee.
Bold strength coffee:
The Bold setting adjusts the brewing cycle of a full pot of coffee, allowing more time for the
coffee to “steep” to extract further oils and flavor from the coffee bean. This results in a bolder tasting pot
of coffee.
1. Press the STRENGTH 1-4 CUP button once to enter into the Brew strength selection mode. The LCD will

2. To select Gourmet strength coffee, press STRENGTH 1-4 CUP button to enter into the Brew strength

3. To select Bold strength coffee, press STRENGTH 1-4 CUP button to enter into the Brew strength selection

1-4 Cup Brew Cycle:
Automatically adjusts the brewing process for maximum flavor when brewing small
quantities. Ideal for brewing 1 to 4 cups of coffee.
* If 12 cups of water are poured into the water tank then 12 cups of coffee will brew.
To select the 1-4 cup, press and hold the STRENGTH 1-4 CUP button. One beep can be heard and the LCD
will display

Automatic Start Brewing Coffee
Press PROG / CLOCK button once, the LCD screen will display
. The previously set hour will flash (last
saved). The default future brew time is 12:00 AM. Follow the “Setting the clock“ to set the HOUR and the
MINUTE. After completion of setting the pre-set clock, the coffee maker will beep and display the auto-start time
for 3 seconds before switching to the current time. The LCD will also display
. Once the current time
reaches the set time for the auto brew, the coffee maker will start the brewing cycle. To cancel the automatic start
brewing cycle; simply push on the PROG / CLOCK button once more until
disappears.
Remembering Your Automatic Start Brew Preferences
Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to recall the last automatic start brew settings that were
programmed.

Pause And Serve
If you wish to serve a cup of coffee before the brew cycle is completed, simply remove the carafe from the keep
warm plate. Dripping will automatically cease. Return the carafe onto the keep warm plate; dripping will resume.
CAUTION:
To prevent injury when utilizing the pause and serve feature, replace carafe within 30 seconds after
removing during the brewing process.
1. After approximately 2 cups of coffee have been brewed, the carafe may be slowly removed and the coffee
will stop dripping.
2. The flow valve is located on the bottom of the filter holder and is activated when the carafe is removed.
This design makes it possible for you to remove the carafe and pour a cup of coffee before the entire
carafe is brewed.
IMPORTANT:
When replacing the filter holder, the flow valve must be properly inserted into the front hole
of the machine, so that it can be seen as it sits on the top of the carafe lid.
3. When using this feature, make sure that the carafe is replaced under the filter holder within 30 seconds to
prevent overflow.
Setting The Duration Of The Keep Warm
Press the KEEP WARM / CLEAN button once, the LCD will display “2:00“ and
will flash. The default
keep warm time is “2:00”. If you have already set a duration of time for the keep warm, this will be the new
default so long as the coffee maker stays plugged in. To select the period of keep warm time toggle between the
and
buttons. Each time the button is pushed the keep warm time is increased or decreased by increments
of 30 minutes. The keep warm time is between 30 minutes to 4 hours. Once the desired keep warm time is
reached, press the KEEP WARM / CLEAN button again to confirm. At that time, the coffee maker will beep.
Auto Shut Off
The coffee maker will automatically shut off once the keep warm time has elapsed after brew.
