6. Operation

6.1 General Precautions
•
Please note orientation of door opening before loading carts into the chamber. Door opening
should be toward the wide-track side.
•
Carts that have doors should be secured in the open position before loading into the
cartwasher
•
Drain plugs in cart bottoms should be removed.
•
Avoid carts that have lips or edges that can hold liquid.
•
Do not place additional items on cart to be washed. These items can roll off in the tipping
process and possibly jam or damage the cart and/or washer.
•
Cart construction materials should be such that they can be exposed to the machine
environment.
•
Do not enter the chamber while the unit is operational.
•
Keep hands and feet clear of track sections while unit is operational.
•
Only trained personnel should perform service on the equipment.
•
Processed carts may be hot. Do not touch without protection.
6.2 Turning on the Machine
The main power disconnect switch is located in the supply room on the supply cabinet. This
switch disconnects all power to the main control. Under normal operation this switch is left in the
“ON” position.
