Re-initialising the base
When you re-initialise your base, all the base
parameters are reset to their initial values
(factory settings).
On the navigator key , press or
until the Settings screen is displayed, press
OK to confirm.
Select Adv. Settings using or . Press
Confirm .
Select Base Settings using or . Press
Confirm .
Select Reset Base using or . Press
Confirm .
A confirmation screen will prompt you to
confirm your request:
• To re-initialise the base, press Yes .
• If you do not wish to re-initialise the base,
press No .
Enter the base code using the keypad. Press
Confirm .
To exit the menu, press the red key .
When re-initialising the base, the
base code becomes 0000 again.
De-registering a handset
This function enables you to de-register a
handset from your base. This may be
necessary if you have lost a handset or if you
already have 6 handsets registered to the
same base.
On the navigator key , press or
until the Settings screen is displayed, press
OK to confirm.
Select Adv. Settings using or . Press
Confirm .
Select Base Settings using or . Press
Confirm .
Select Delete Handset using or . Press
Confirm .
Select the handset you wish to unregister in
the list by pressing
or . Press
Delete .
A screen prompts you to confirm the
unregistration. Press Yes to unregister
the handset.
To exit the menu, press the red key .
The deleted handset must be
registered to its base again. refer to
the paragraph "Registering a new
handset to a base", page 49
