Special Functions

Parking a Call

You can "park" a call you are currently making if necessary. A
parked call is not disconnected and you can continue it later.

You can also go to another telephone which is connected to the
same ISDN line, and continue the parked call there. This func-
tion means, for example, that you can transfer calls to a cord-
less terminal.

You are on a call and want to park it.
Press the 

Park

softkey. Now enter a park code. This code allows

you to continue the parked call later.

Then press the 

Park

softkey again.

If the call has been successfully parked, you will receive a reply
from the network.

The code serves to identify the parked call during "unparking".
You can use any single digit number for this. The call can only
be unparked later by entering this code.

If the call is not parked, you will receive a corresponding error
message.

Parked calls which are not continued are automatically discon-
nected after 180 seconds.

NB: While the call is parked the other party does not receive an
announcement; the line will appear "dead" to them.
