Power Supply Modules

The dual, redundant power supplies ensure continuous, uninterrupted
power.

The supplies are current sharing which means they share the load

equally. If a power supply fails, the redundant power supply can support the
entire current load of one fully populated Switch.

Each Power Supply module contains an internal cooling fan.



Front-End Power Supply with back to front airflow.

Although the switch functions properly with one power module,

Thinklogical recommends that both

modules be used, preferably connected to independent power sources, for redundancy

Additionally, the hot-swappable feature allows easy replacement of a module without interrupting the
Switch

’s system functionality.

Power Supply status is displayed on the front panel.

PS1 PS2

If operating the TLX48 2RU with one power supply, it should be installed in the left (PS1) receptacle.

A supplied filler panel should be installed to cover the right receptacle.
