1.1 Description of the device variants
The devices differ with regard to the number of interfaces and the media type
for connecting segments.
The table below shows the number and type of the ports for each product
variant. The abbreviations F/O (optical fiber) and TP (twisted pair) indicate
the media type. The abbreviations DSC, ST, SFP and RJ45 indicate the
socket type. The abbreviations MM (Multimode) and SM (Singlemode) indi-
cate the optical fiber type.
